The brand new Theatre of Cowards debuts at their first ever fringe festival.
One of the most exciting companies in the North-East, featuring some of the most controversial amateur theatre-makers in County Durham, we proudly fly the flag of ‘the New Art of the Weird’ – Joe Cuckold is no different. Described by writer and director Sylvia Gardner as,
“The most bizarre and exciting thing I’ve worked on, possibly ever.”
Assisted by Mika Trench, this show promises excitement, laughs, splendour, and hypocrisy in abundance, drawing in the audience to each part of the love triangle of Joe (Kian Standbridge), Sarah (Lottie Roddis), and Tranny Tongue (Sam Garratt) with immersive and interactive elements, designed and executed by Bryony Curley.
Fresh off the back of our Opening Night, described by audience members as:
“Raw, authentic, real”,” “Refreshing, artistically and creatively”, and “A show that
brought me into conversation with the people around me”
