I think we can safely now say the threat of snow has passed, although it has been replaced withthe rather more exotic "volcanic ash", so it's time to drag your bike from the back of the shed, pump up the tyres, and get out there. Avoid the queues, get free parking in Loughborough (don't forget the bike lock), and get a bit of exercise into the bargain.
I've even got my bike out; and I'm not one for unnecessary exercise. It needs the gears adjusting but it's basically OK. If it turns out it needs more serious attention I'll have it over to Glenn at Pedal Power for some expert looking at - those guys really know their stuff.
