Esteemed local undertakers Charnwood Funeral Services Ltd was featured once again* in the national press today (6/10/10), specifically the Independent, Telegraph and Daily Mail, as their young apprentice George Simnett was hailed as the "UK's youngest undertaker".
Business manager Philip Collin is allowing young George to operate his own firm from within Charnwood Funerals' premises on Baxtergate to help him get up and running.
If only more established businesses were as trusting, supportive and generous to their apprentices and young employees.
