Today is Diwali, the Festival of Light, or "New Year's Eve" if you're a Hindu like Mrs Loughborough. Normally we'd go to Leicester for the celebrations but Mrs L's not keen this year (too cold, too busy) so we'll light up the house with tea-lights and just have a quiet meal in.
If you're in the mood for a curry (restaurant or takeaway) then one place I'd recommend is Out Of India on the A511 just past the M1 on the way to Shepshed. Not on thebestof (yet!) but have had good takeaways from there and the interior's very inviting to eat in too.
