What a great place - spent almost the whole day here. really lovely memorials to the fallen since the Second World War. Covers not only the armed services but various other organisations as well such as the Police Force, Fire Brigade etc.
This is where you will find the Shot at Dawn memorial to all those wrongly executed in the Great War.
All day place and great facilities - try the scone with butter and jam.

Worth a visit to admire the tremendous collection of fitting memorials that are spread out over beautifully manicured gardens. Easily make a day to take in the full extent of the display and truly worth the time.

A very moving experience for us all. We were fortunate to have the assistance of Mark who took us up to the main memorial in a golf cart as there is a long ramp to negotiate with a wheelchair. Mark gave us an insight into many interesting facts about the Arboretum which were not immediately apparent and really enhanced our visit. Totally wheelchair accessible with excellent washrooms. Electric buggies and a train available to get around for folk with limited mobility. There is a very modern building with a lovely cafe and gift shop.

An absolute amazing place which ever one should visit at least once in their lifetime. It is such a beautiful place and is a absolute credit to the war fallen down the years. It is free to visit but like me we should all leave a good donation to help keep in going. You have to pay for the car park which is £4 if pre-booked on line and £6 if you pay when there. All in all i can't emphasize the need to visit this beautiful place.
