Nice to see no compulsary entrance fee but happily gave a donation. The cathedral is lovely and interesting but not on an epic scale. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Wow! What an amazing building, it literally took our breath away, then to be told it was free to enter but could donate if you wanted to, we gave generously and did our tour, very interesting facts and history to be absorbed while wondering through the different areas of the cathedral. I would recommend a visit it was awesome.

Every time I visit this beautiful cathedral it takes my breath away. I can only say it is superb architecturally inside and out. I am not particularly religious but I do feel awe inspired looking around. Pity we couldn't stay into the evening for the light exhibition - the photos of this event look spectacular. The coffee and gift shops are a bonus. Lucky Lichfield to have such a wonder on your doorstep. Hope to be back for another visit.

Although very much older, the Cathedral is notable for the most beautiful statues and artefacts that were incorporated during the Victorian era. A must see. Most definitely one of the most beautiful and complete cathedrals I have seen.

Very impressive from the outside. Free admission to get inside, although they do ask if you want to make a donation. Excellently kept inside with plenty of different things to look at, old and new. Definitely worth having a look if you have 30+ minutes spare.

When visiting Lichfield , a visit to the cathedral is a must, The front is covered with statues and the inside has a lovely peaceful atmosphere,. we have visited so many times, free admission but donations requested.

Me and my family came to see the light show the other evening, it was nice to see the cathedral with all the special effects inside.

Was visiting the area over the weekend and decided to pop in to see what it was like. There was a friendly member of staff who was happy to help with any information which was lovely. Didn't get his name but he was a real gentleman. Definitely worth a visit if you are near here!
