This is truly a hidden gem. I have been to the major religious sites in the world - Angkor Wat, Borobodur, Notre Dame, the Temple Plain of Bagan, but this is up there with the best. It is also free to view. The cathedral dominates the small picturesque town and the carvings and stone works of the facade are wonderful. Awe inspiring.

A stunning unique medieval cathedral. Packed with treasures and the outside is a mini Wells with all its carving.
A peaceful setting and very friendly staff make it a place you won’t regret visiting.. if you talk to the staff you will learn so much.
They don’t charge to enter but ask for a donation
