This place is fantastic and we visit regularly as there are always new memorials being added. We still haven't seen all of the memorials yet and like I say, we visit quite regularly. There is a lovely walk along the river, many little huts to sit and ponder, have a picnic or watch the birds. It is very vast so allow at least half a day but a full day would be better in able to try and see everything. If you are planning a visit around armistice day, make sure you book up as it is very very busy and when they do the ride to the wall. There is a cafe which sells a good range of foods too. It is best to check before you go for events, there is an overflow car park too and the parking is £4. It is free to get in but you can put money in the donations box and it is used for the upkeep of the very large grounds.
