Wanted to visit here for some time now and was not disappointed, A place to pay respects to our fallen, could lose most of the day walking around the large expanse of gardens, disabled friendly all round cafe serving a range of snacks hot and cold drinks and proper meals. Tours can be arranged.

I have been meaning to visit the National Memorial Arboretum for many years and the pandemic definitely slowed my opportunity to visit down but I was in the area and decided that this was the time to go and check it out.
I used google maps to get me to the arboretum but it is also well signposted from the A38.
There is some very orderly parking and if you have paid to park in advance you will already have a reserved place.
Within the arboretum there are many monuments and reminders for people who have sacrificed for us to live in a country where we have the freedoms to remember these things in the hope that they will never happen again.
There really are some magnificent and poignant memorials and I would suggest taking time to sit and consider why these are in place.
For the less mobile there is the land train to take you around this massive site.
There is a very good cafe and gift shop to get a souvenir of your visit.

Lovely place to visit along with a stroll around the city streets. The cathedral is huge, free to visit, well maintained, friendly staff and sometimes have exhibitions like this on show. I would be happy to visit again.

Beautiful cathedral. Went to see the Moon which was amazing. Very disappointed at fact the music was so quiet you could not hear it. The sound of people and children over powered it. The place has fantastic acoustics so it would of been amazing. Paid to see it at night especially for the atmosphere should of gone during the day as it was free!
