A wonderful cathedral with something for everyone.<br>There are memorials to Johnson, Garrick, and Erasmus Darwin, and the collection of standards from the Staffordshire regiments and monuments to their fallen is very impressive.<br>Of course over seven hundred years the collection of ecclesiastical furnishings is most impressive from a beautiful altarpiece, through the remnants of a mediaeval wall painting, to what must be one hundred statues on the west face of the Cathedral.
