An excellent visit every time - there are always more additions to the monuments and there's always lots to discover whilst you walk around the vast site. The highlight is the wall of remembrance set upon an artificial hill near to the entrance of the site. Superbly attended by the staff, everywhere is immaculate.

Better to visit on an a nice day, but book your parking space before you go.

I Have been coming here for about three years, since I started seeing someone who lived locally and then a year ago I moved to Lichfield so go there at least once a week.
The architecture is awe inspiring, the stone masonry off the scale, it's history incredible. Every body that work there are genuinely very friendly and every visitor receives a warm welcome. The services are high church but without the usual haughtiness that other places are guilty of. It is the jewel of Lichfield and it's prominence as part of the skyline for me gives me a great sense of comfort as I travel round the city. If you visit Lichfield then the Cathedral is simply a must and for some of you it will be a great spiritual experience as well..

We visit many Cathedrals to enjoy the architecture, music and worship. Lichfield scored very high on each of these and we really enjoyed talking to many of the local team.

Recently visited Lichfield for the first time and decided to wander up to the cathedral to take a look at the exterior. Was pleasantly surprised to find that there is no entrance fee for this magnificent building. Once inside the area is huge - one of the biggest I've ever seen and you can wander around for as long as you wish without any pressure on you. Photography is not a problem although some areas do not allow the use of the flash. There is also a small gift shop and the prices are very reasonable. Would recommend anyone who visits the city to go and spend at least twenty minutes exploring this beautiful building.

I love visiting cathedrals, and Lichfield is one of my favourites. It provides the perfect combination of spiritual peace with the beauty of design and some amazing history - ask to see the replicas of The Hoard, and some of the illuminated books in their library.

This is one of the wonders of England. The only cathedral with three spires, There is nothing like it elsewhere and together with the ancient city of Lichfield it is a must see.

This is a huge Cathedral with stunning architecture. Visit the Staffordshire Regiments chapel. Take in the stained glass and the beautiful alter. There is also the history of the broken angel.

What a lovely place to go and visit even if you aren't religious its a place to see. Its in a lovely little market town and its free to go into you just need to give a donation. The cathedral its self has beautiful stain glass windows and by looking around you can feel the history, i used to go to visit the cathedral with my school and its just the same now as it was back then.
