Lovely peacefull place with many helpfull and knowledgeable personnel eager to assist. A large area to cover would need more than a single visit.<br>I was there on a beautiful day. Rain would not be good for visiting this manorial. Excellent restaurant.

We often come to Lichfield for an afternoon and always manage to pop in to the cathedral. It's always been a place in our personal history from a visit during my confirmation journey, our vicar becoming a deacon and just feeling at home here. Very serene and lovely. It has a history beyond imagining, which you need to look into. Also, pop over to the shop (No9 across from the entrance). Lovely staff over there and a friendly cat.

We received a warm welcome on entry and everyone connected to the Cathedral was very friendly. The architecture is truly awe inspiring. The setting was beautiful. We were lucky to have visited on a warm, late summer's day and so took advantage of the gardens outside.

My partner and I went to Lichfield for a weekend and went to look at the cathedral .it's easy to find and is free to enter they ask if you want to donate. While in the cathedral we was over weld over the size inside. There is a lot of interesting things to see and take photo's while in the area it's well worth taking a look at.

Very impressed by this lovely cathedral. I was particularly impressed by the intelligent and sensitive way they've dealt with the fraught issue of charging for admission. There is an admission desk, issuing tickets in order to keep track of visitor numbers. Donations are encouraged but in a gentle way. It's a good compromise.
Much to see and admire in the building. We took a 45-minute guided tour, which was superb - the guide was articulate, well-informed, interesting.
