We had the most amazing day learning about the various animals. We planned a three generation boys' day outing and my son suggested visiting this Alpaca farm.<br>We parked on the wet grass, not realising there is hard standing parking through the gates. We were following the signs.<br>We enjoyed a wonderful day out, looking at the varied selection of farm animals and exotic species.<br>We purchased hot drinks and snacks from the cafe and sat close to a tractor, which my grandson enjoyed climbing on and off.<br>Afterwards, he wanted to visit the play area, which he enjoys visiting, whenever we are together. He also bounced on the bouncing pillow, a new favourite.<br>Using the slides, one note of caution, the end areas have been worn away, so children land either on mud or stones. Some bark chippings would make landing a little more comfortable and not require a change of clothing.<br>A great day out and definitely worthy of a return visit. There is plenty to see and entertain the children, of all abilities, warm, friendly staff on hand to help when needed and a well stocked cafe and food shop, selling locally produced foods.
