A beautiful place with some stunning tributes to servicemen and women of different wars. Was lovely to visit and pay our respects. Perfect for a day out in nice weather. Free to get in, parking is £6 for all day which is perfect for the 150 acres you get to walk around. Toilets are very nice, food nice at restaurant. A little pricey but we didn't mind. I do think the statues and information plaques could do with a clean though, lots of moss and cobwebs on them and looks a little messy. Also some of the benches could do with a clean. None of this though takes away from the beauty of it all and I must admit the grass is kept lovely. Nice walk by the river here too, great seeing all the wildlife. You can take a drive along train to view the area or you can have a tour on a small cart. The train has disabled access too which is brilliant. Definitely worth a visit

Very disappointed with the 2023 light show. Yes the lights on the West Front and Lichfield Cathedral School were nice but I was so disappointed there was no light show inside the cathedral projected on the walls. The Christmas trees were nice but they were accompanied by a giant series of charity boxes. Even the nativity scenes were nothing special. I viewed the 2021 event online and it looked so much better. I would not go again unless the inside of the cathedral was illuminate£ too.

This was our 2nd visit, last time was 2017.
I think everyone should visit this Memorial at least once in their life.
There are amazing monuments to the fallen and to those that have served.
We were greeted on entering the building, as we had been before we were happy to do our own thing.
We got there in time for the memorial service with the last post at 11.00 so that set the tone for me.
There are 2 memorials that always break me Shot at Dawn, all those poor lives just shot down, so many such young Boys. The other one is the Bastion Memorial I had links at that time with the Royal Marines and there are many names I can connect to, just rips my heart..
We had a sandwich and coffee, which was all very nice.
Plenty of toilets all clean and tidy.
Nice shop selling lots of bits and bobs
We made our donation electronically, but there are places you can pay cash into.
You can either pre book the car park or pay on the day we paid on the day it’s not that much dearer
If you have an interest in Military and so many other groups it’s well worth a visit.
There are golf buggy rides or a driven train on wheels with commentary for the less able.
We were there nearly 4hrs

Customer service is first class. Interior Choice always respond promptly to all telephone calls and messages. We had a broken vertical blind clip that would otherwise have spoilt the whole system, but Garin sorted the problem for us in a very short time period. We can thoroughly recommend Interior Choice.
