What a Beautiful Cathedral, inside & out, Free Admission, which is unusual these days, but would have paid a fee to go in if required, Donations can be given if you want to,.If ever you are in the lovely shopping area of Lichfield, which has some gorgeous little shops, just walk towards the river, where you can see the Cathedral, NOT TO BE MISSED.

Lichfield Cathedral is a place of pure joy and beauty , i have been many times and each time i am made to feel welcome .The history and architecture are stunning .Families are welcome ,Christmas is a fabulous time to visit ,they decorate the Cathedral beautifully and really enter into the christmas spirit .

Well worth a visit. It also holds events outside the cathedral in the close during the Lichfield Festival which is held in July and also a Victorian Market so it is an integral part of our city.
