My family and I moved from Alsace to Leeds in July 2026 after a year in France. Our 10 m3 goods (about 50 standard sized boxes bought on Amazon, a bunk bed, a couple of bookcases, a keyboard, a microwave, a few random items and five bikes) were collected on 15th July by franklins and they loaded the lorry very quickly with no issues. The goods were kept in storage when they arrived in the UK as we weren’t yet ready to travel. They were delivered to us in Leeds on 28th July by Karl and Keiran (who did a great job - very friendly and professional!)
We were really happy with how everything went. One thing to note was that they couldn’t give an exact moving/delivery date until quite short notice. They were able to give a window of two days. However, i think that’s standard industry practice.
They were very accommodating by delivering a week earlier than originally requested (due to a change of circumstances on our behalf).

You really know how good your agents are when there is trouble lower down in the chain. Andrew Downing and Booth were superb. The staff kept us constantly informed and chased the other agents and solicitors to keep things moving. Jane was spot on with valuation and Helen, Erin and Lilly did the rest perfectly in my opinion. I have no issue recommending. 5 star service

We had a house with a number of complications which was sold by Andrew recently. No matter what problems arose he dealt with them promptly and efficiently. He always returns calls, he always does what he says he is going to do. The final 3 days were a nightmare, but Andy was on the phone virtually every hour to the many parties involved. Without his persistence it is unlikely that the sale would have completed. We certainly would recommend using Andrew Downing-Booth Estate Agents to sell your house.

I have just completed the sale of a property in lichfield with Andrew Downing Booth Estate agents. I have have used other estate agents in the Lichfield area and in the south of the country and I can honestly say Andrew was easily the best I’ve used. It was a particularly complicated sale due to covid19 halting proceedings at a vital time but Andrew kept in touch and was excellent throughout. Can’t recommend this guy high enough, buying or selling speak to him, incredibly professional and a really nice bloke to go with it
