Really pleased with the service I have received from Mark and the team at ACMS Mercedes Ltd over the last couple of months since I inherited an 15 year old C230 Kompressor with incredibly low mileage . After catching sight of some recommendations on a Mercedes Benz enthusiast forum, I decided to give him call. Before booking my car in, I was invited down to have a look round facility and was very impressed. Mark and his team clearly have a wealth of experience with Mercedes Benz vehicles and he charges a fair price and does a great job with impeccable attention to detail. One of the jobs I needed doing required some very expensive parts (Xenon Controllers) which Mark suggested I purchase directly and have sent to him to avoid paying the VAT twice. I would definitely recommend ACMS to anyone looking for an alternative option to Main Dealer Service departments.

If there were 6 stars available ACMS would deserve them. A family run business that puts the customer first, with a professional service and the highest quality workmanship at fantastic value prices. After owning four mercedes over the last 15 years I wish I had found ACMS years ago, I certainly won't take my car anywhere else in future.

If you own a Mercedes and live anywhere near Walsall you have to meet Mark and his team! The knowledge, experience and customer service are second to none. What a lucky find this place was, my ML had been running rough for weeks and I didn't fancy paying a fortune for a star merc evaluation so I booked a visit to ACMS Mercedes . Super friendly people who know your mercedes right down to the last little nut and bolt the fault was diagnosed and rectified in no time and I left with the car driving exactly how merc meant it to. This morning I had arranged for the glow plugs to be replaced and yet again the job was done without fuss or drama and at a really fair price. I absolutely recommend ACMS if you have a mercedes give them a try

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Marc and his team at ACMS. I've always taken my car to the main Mercedes dealer for every service and MOT and any other problem, but this time when they said that my car was not worth repairing and they would give me £500 for it to be part-exchanged. My car is old, but inside it looks like a brand new car and I felt that the main Mercedes dealer was just after my money. This is where Marc and his team at ACMS Mercedes came in and they sorted my car out in a day and at a reasonable price. Marc also picked and dropped my car from home. What a service. I would definitely recommend ACMS Mercedes to everyone

My SLK 200 developed a problem insofar that it would start when cold but would not start when the engine got hot after a journey. I took the car to a Specialist Mercedes garage and they quoted me £250 to replace the Crankshaft Sensor as both the AA Patrol man and the garage diagnosed the problem as a faulty crankshaft sensor which is acceptable as most mechanics would come to this conclusion. I saw sensors advertised on the internet for £30 and I knew they are very easy to remove and replace. My partner decided to do the work in order to save us some money. I purchased a genuine sensor from Mercedes which cost me £117. The new sensor made absolutely no difference. I did not know where to turn as I could see me spending a small fortune to get the problem properly diagnosed and repaired. I visited a number of garages and the people I spoke to just told me to take it in and they would have a look and did not want to listen to the symptoms I was experiencing with the car. I came across ACMS/Best of Walsall on Google and read the reviews. I was a bit suspicious of 57 perfect reviews; however, I decided to call in to ACMS to see if they had any ideas as to what might be the problem. I met Rachel on reception and she said she would fetch Mark from the garage to speak to me. Mark discussed the problem with me and said he would also have replaced the crankshaft sensor and was surprised this did not sort the problem. After about a five minute chat about the car he said to take the car to the garage the following day and he would spend an hour to try and find the cause of the problem. Following our conversation, I had a gut feeling I had found the right garage. I took the car to ACMS first thing this morning and spoke to Mark. He asked me for the service book as he said he had been thinking about the problem and felt it was probably fuel related. He wanted to see when the fuel filter was replaced. He put the car on his Mercedes Star diagnostic monitor when I left. He called me within an hour to tell me he had identified the problem and invited me to come and inspect the fuel filter which according to the service book was supposed to be replaced during a recent service. It was clear from its condition; the filter had not been replaced for many years. Following replacement of the fuel filter the car is starting again without problem and is running much better than it has done at any time since I purchased it in May this year. The bill I received from ACME was very reasonable and I am delighted that I have found a mechanic who I have confidence that they will take care of my car in the future. With the payment receipt, Rachel gave me a copy of the diagnostic results produced before and after the fuel filter was replaced which I found interesting to read and is a great touch in customer involvement! I would describe the service I received from ACMS Mercedes Specialist Garage as excellent.
