It was a spur of the moment decision to stop off here and we ended up spending two incredibly thought provoking hours. It is largely but not solely armed forces focussed but for me the most powerful we saw was the Shot at Dawn memorial. Really worth a visit. Will return I'm sure.

Good to go round. Lovely staff and volunteers. You can't do the train or cart tour if you have a dog with you.

The National Memorial Arboretum is a wonderful place you can easily spend a day at. The staff are welcoming and there is easy parking on site. The grounds are full of fascinating things to see and explore and the whole facility is simply outstanding. Well worth a visit.
