A lovely place to visit and remember those who have passed. There is a stickman trail. Recommend booking parking online for a discounted rate. You can pay onsite for £8 Vs £5 online. You can bring your dog on a lead to most areas and cafe has a dog friendly area.

Being an Army Veteran, I visit the NMA at least twice a year to reflect and remember the fallen from previous wars. During my career, our regiment lost a number of soldiers who's names appear on a memorial at the NMA.

The whole place has a sense of timeless memories, and a promise of the future. The still relatively young trees will one day tower over the memorials, long after I've gone, when my son is my age, wondering around these hallowed grounds.

It's wonderfully accessible, the facilities are excellent, it's all so very, very good. Take your time, and absorb the stories each memorial has to tell, along with the myriad of plaques around the place.

And....be grateful.

Very moving, well developed and maintained. Definitely worth a visit. Visit the nooks and crannies off the path, there are little memorials everywhere.
