Fabulous place if you’re interested in World war 1&2 . An emotional experience seeing how many were affected by the atrocities and wonderful to know how so many helped in their own way for the good of everyone . Everyone needs to go to be reminded and be grateful for what we have today .

It's always fantastic. Free entry, parking £4-6. I have been several times and experienced new things each time. Guides are situated around the Arboretum and are very helpful. One chap helped me look for a family name on the wall. New for me, this time was 'shot at dawn ' memorial. Very sombre but one you can't miss. This felt like a double tragedy when you think about what these young men went through. Good cup of tea and food available in the food area or take your own and sit outside. Wear comfortable shoes or hire (tbc) a mobility scooter. Great day, love going there.

Visited the Arboretum today. A beautiful place to walk around, plenty of benches everywhere too. The food in the restaurant is lovely, hot meals as well as really fresh sandwiches and tasty cakes. Best sandwiches we have had in a restaurant! Would recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.
