Evensong is free, I'm surprised there are not more people attending Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays at 5.30pm. It is a beautiful escape from the rat race. Gorgeous music, gorgeous architecture, wonderful sense of peace and superb refuge from the madness of the week. Wednesday evening has become the high point in my work week. Something I look forward to, a midweek marker and chance to decompress.

A really beautiful building with many statues and decorations on the outside and some spectacular marble sculptures inside. Only a donation for entry. Could have walked around for hours.

Awesome cathedral with impressive architecture, huge interior. You can walk around for free but a donation is welcome. Polite and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

The walls and stained glass tell different historical stories of kings, bishops and the people who ruled these lands over the years.<br>If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend that you take more time to immerse yourself in the history that this beautiful cathedral will tell you.
