When my neighbour & I visited. the local river had burst its Banks and flooded the grounds. Lots to see & to think about. Great shame of all those brave people who lost their lives in pointless wars?. A must visit for everyone & please make a donation. I also recommend the excellent restaurant.

Visited here with a coach party. Really heart warming experience. Went on the little train around the various memorials, took about an hour for £5. Very big site, but they hire scooters for £5. There is a lovely restaurant and coffee shop and not very expensive. There is also a shop for souvenirs, some of the things are very expensive. Really enjoyed the visit and would recommend.

Been to the National Memorial Arboretum. Started with lunch in the restaurant. had the Turkey and Leek pie. Delicious!.
Then went to see all the wooden crosses placed by the Royal British Legion in memory of all the Heroes that have given their lives so that we can live ours in peace. God Bless.
Very moving.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this truly inspiring area.full of fabulously designed memorials which bring a lump to the throat. The entire place is beautiful and was full of families with their children and dogs picnicking in the grounds and the restaurant was also very busy. Thoroughly recommend several visits here to see the beautiful trees in various stages.

It is a beautiful, calm place for remembrance, but so much to see, do, and learn. We have visited it twice now, but plan to return as there is so much to see. You can easily spend a day here. There is a good cafe/restaurant. It's free to enter but they appreciate donations, and parking was £6 for the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

What a place, you could have the whole day here no problem, had no idea that this place was so big and memorials for things I had no idea about. The land train is well worth riding as you get loads of information. The restaurant is actually really good value and there are volunteers in green that can help with any questions or directions.

What a Great Day-out! It's been on my 'Do-List' for ages and I'm not disappointed. Such good value and all/any contributions made in restaurant, shop, land train, buggies, etc., Go to Royal British Legion - a deserving Charity. Will go again soon to complete what we failed to see in 1xday.

Lovely local theatre. A bit tight on the leg room at the back, better towards the front stalls. Small, intimate and friendly.
Perfectly located to access Lichfield centre and it's many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars.
And amazingly close to various parking options, the bus station and Lichfield City railway station.

It is a truly wonderful place to visit. There is a land train that takes you round if your not very good on your legs, it is a large area to cover on foot. The monuments are superb and so many of them. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop and gift shop. Lots of other things to do as well. It is a place that everyone should visit in their lifetime and appreciate what it is there for.
