I had never heard of the place, but how amazing was it, such a surprise. Seeing all the names of the people that had lost their lives in all the wars, right up until present day. A very moving place. No entrance fee, but £3 for parking. There is a restaurant although we didn't try it, also a gift shop and toilets.

Lovely atmosphere of friendliness. The food is always very tasty. Worth a visit. When I last went there was a parade day for the 1st world war memorial. It is a wonderful place to visit and the restaurant staff are always pleasant and helpful even when they are under pressure of serving a couple of hundred people with hot food. Well done.

Very well laid out with simply hundreds of memorials large and small. From conflicts of the distant past to those closer to the present day. All well presented and cared for, although several were being cleaned or refurbished when we visited. Excellent new restaurant with tasty food for a good price.

Group of 2 adults and 3 children aged 2-12. We had a lovely few hours wandering round. Very helpful staff to get you where you want to go. Children enjoyed making flags for a memorial.

We ate in the restaurant, bit chaotic but the food was nice.

Will definitely return.

I visited here with some of my ex army friends and it a very humbling place especially at the wall of remembrance were I spotted names I knew.
Last time I was here was about 8 years ago since then the new buildings have been constructed with addition of a shop and restaurant serving Sunday lunch

A beautiful setting in Buzzards Valley's own vineyard. The tour they offer for this is very enlightening and the wine tasting afterwards is very enjoyable. The restaurant offers a very tasty menu with special menus for such events Valentine's Day. Excellent food and excellent staff, all very friendly. A very interesting shop too if you are looking for a different kind of gift.

Such a thought provoking visit with my husband and 16 year-old son. Beautiful landscaping and lovely memorials. The restaurant has a nice choice of hot and cold foods and the separate cafe is perfect for takeaway drinks. Very well supported by volunteers and paid staff. Lovely experience would recommend as a destination to visit.

Helpful staff and impressive and respectful siting of monuments to military and civil forces and arenas of war. A road train for small cost can take visitors around the huge site. There is a well stocked gift shop and restaurant.<br>Though close to Lichfield please note there is no bus route direct from Lichfield.

Amazing place that I didn't know existed. You could spend a day here and still not see everything. It is so peaceful and the grounds are very well kept. The restaurant is lovely too and has crosses that can be taken (for a donation) to be planted on the grounds. I would recommend it to anyone and I will definitely visit again.
