Visited the cathedral with my husband on a sunny early spring day. The cathedral has some of the best architecture i have seen with beautiful pieces dotted around which you can see and touch.Whilst not as spectacular as Canterbury it is free to go into and you may or may not make a donation.We felt it was a good attraction in a lovely quaint area.As with all cathedrals it was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful glass which they were raising money to preserve.Go along it is a good day out with cute tourist areas and some nice restaurants /traditional tea rooms around.

Lovely gothic Cathedral to visit, its a shame the lady chapel stained glass is out for repair but still a lovely cathedral to visit. There is great history surrounding the pilgrims coming to visit st chads head and great history about the st chads gospels.

beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Lichfield is a lovely town and has great markets Tuesday, Friday and `Saturday and they have a farmers market, not sure which day though
