Interesting place to visit and surrounding areas also good. Pleanty of places for breakfast, tea or coffee and cake along a lovely little street from back of cathedral called Dam Street. I choose the Olde Nook, very nice attentive service and good food

Visited this evening for the Christmas light show. The show was fantastic - however the display within the Cathedral was breathtaking. A wonderful way to experience a truly beautiful building.

This is truly a hidden gem. I have been to the major religious sites in the world - Angkor Wat, Borobodur, Notre Dame, the Temple Plain of Bagan, but this is up there with the best. It is also free to view. The cathedral dominates the small picturesque town and the carvings and stone works of the facade are wonderful. Awe inspiring.
