We loved all of Lichfield - a hidden gem, and the cathedral is central to this. A relatively small cathedral close but only a short walk to river, Civil War information, Samuel Johnson museum and nice shops.

Have been on many occasions to see the refurbished stained glass windows and the repaired stone. Take friends and family there to see a magnificent building with friendly staff and tons of history. Interesting for all the family

An amazing place to visit. Very helpful friendly guides who know their stuff, but don't intrude. Lots of interesting things to see, and much history to get lost in.

The cathedral is a simply stunning. Take a walk around the outside and take in the stone carvings, which are in great condition considering the age of this building.

The inside is something to behold. The craftsmanship here too is beautiful. It is easy to find yourself struggling to take in the grandeur and vastness.

well worth a visit.

Well worth a visit, it's close, we went late afternoon and joined in evening song. I would recommend a visit particularly if you like historic buildings

We only got to witness the outside unfortunately but it was amazing, especially on the sunny day we were there. Well worth a visit.

We live very near to Lichfield Cathedral and never tire of going there at least once a month, there is always something new to look at or some exhibition to look forward to. The amazing architecture is always a joy to admire, giving you a sense of going back in time, for anyone that has not been it is a must see.

No entrance fee, all that is asked is that you put something in the box on your way out. It is like being in another world, quiet, cool, serene, somewhere magical. even with nothing to do with religion, this place is something else.

If you are in Lichfield, you must go inside the Cathedral!

Our visit this time was for the Christmas Fair and the Christmas tree competition and the nativity scene. Well a very good Christmas fair with a lot of tables with a fine selection of ideas. The Cathedral is always worth a visit and a must if you visit Lichfield
