If you are in the area, and have an interest in the history of our country, I would recommend a visit to the national memorial arboretum in Staffordshire. Just make sure you are wearing suitable shoes for a walk. Large car parks, coffee shop, restaurant with the usual facilities. There are land trains which are well signposted and take a ride through the grounds allowing the opportunity to see the memorials belonging to so many organisations that I can not list them. Information boards are very informative and there are staff members who are happy to help with any questions. An amazing time had by all. We will not forget them.

Very good, moving and reflective. A fitting memorial to not only those that served but also other worthy causes.

An amazing place, one that everyone should visit at least once in their lives. The thought behind each memorial is mind blowing. We all came away having been touched by this amazing place.

The arboretum covers a large area, but taking the land train tour was a great way to see much of the site. The commentary was accurate and it travelled at a gentle pace, maintaining a feeling of tranquility and gave a chance to see the various memorials. If you want to see a specific memorial, it would be advisable to study the layout online prior to your visit, then ask on arrival for the exact location.
Good, clean cafe and a lovely shop.

Small farm shop with a little cafe on the side. It’s very busy at times but they do have a reservation facility to book a table. If you’re going to go at peek times I would recommend booking.
The driveway is very uneven. Lots of pot holes so I would advise against driving a low sports car down the drive.
The menu is small, but the food is very tasty. I always have my go to Eggs Royale.
I have attached the menu to the review as I couldn’t find one. I hope you find this useful.

We had a wonderful morning here today for the Toy Story event. The staff were all friendly and chatty giving information on the animals. The children loved it all, the animals, play area and great face painting.

Beautiful building and some very unusual architecture. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the Cathedral and learning its history. There was also an interesting art trail to follow around the Cathedral. The stained glass was beautiful and it was nice to just sit and reflect and absorb the atmosphere. There is no entrance fee but donations are gratefully accepted.
