Totally stunning Cathedral. Lots of information, with a guide leaflet given as you enter, we were happy to wonder around on our own but make sure you don't miss the Chapter House and St Chads Head Chapel which you can access by some narrow stairs. Tranquil and serene and a wonderful way to spend 1 - 2 hours. The market is on every first Thursday of the month in the market square.

we live a stones throw from Lichfield and we visit regularly, As you approach this wonderful town the first thing you see in the distance are the 3 spires of the cathedral,This wonderful cathedral is truly breathtaking when you first see it up close.Once inside there is so much to take in,The wonderful stained glass windows that each tell a different story,The various pieces of artifacts that date back to the early 1600s which are wonderfully preserved and so much more,If this is your first visit please allow yourself a few hours because that's the least amount of time you will need to truly appreciate this beautiful landmark.

I am not a man of many words and to be honest there are not many words in the English language which can truly describe to you the beauty of Lichfield's cathedral accurately.

Just a wonderful place to visit,immaculately kept.The pieces of treasured items from the staffordshire hoard and the gent that tells us about them is intriguing. I always come at Christmas for the Carol service,it is a special place.
