Standing at the crossing, looking west to the nave and east to the high altar, gives a sense of majesty but also a feeling of being privileged in visiting a place that has been prayed in for centuries. It felt very big on the outside and strangely intimate inside. Glorious.

I went with my family and we love it. The cathedral is gorgeous, splendid. There is so many things to visit and learn about de history. And the entrance is free.

Hi, I had a Greek friend come to stay with me for a week and we did the usual tourist destinations; Birmingham Frankfurt market, Stratford on Avon etc. and his favourite place was Lichfield cathedral! - stunning architecture, you forget about the gems on your doorstep. (I live just outside of Lichfield).

A beautiful cathedral, well worth a visit. Look for the Norman arches a serene and calm place. Ornate interior.

Very enjoyable visit to this beautiful cathedral. Does anything compare to the architecture of the western front? Very nice welcome from pleasant knowledgeable staff.

My visit to the cathedral was for a 'gig' where chairs had been put down the sides of the arches. While sitting, and even though people were looking for their seats, you could not help but admire all of the beautiful architecture. Even though the cathedral was packed to full capacity there was an air of peace. The stonework is amazing, so much beauty and very artistic. So anyone needing tranquility and interested in architecture take a browse.

Very large and high, it has three spires. The interior is full of placques to old soldiers and wealthy people, with a bit of information about these people. As you walk around you get the feeling that when this was constructed it must have been an impressive sight due to them doing it all by hand.
