This is the second year we have been to the pantomime at the Garrick and as before we had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren I would highly recommend anyone to go and see this we have already booked for next year

What a joy to see a traditional pantomime with a script that is not written for the stars. The cast of Dick Whittington worked together as one team and nobody upstaged other performers.

Full of traditional pantomime values, this is what panto is about. This was my first visit to The Garrick and certainly wont be my last. Cannot wait to see Cinderella next Christmas.

Excellent Value, Great Sets, Colorful Costumes and a good script. 5* Rating

Fabulous pantomime , cleverly scripted and genuinely funny.
All cast were really good and excellent stage presence and singing voices.
I had been to see ELF the musical at the Genting arena a few days before. I left early from that disappointed.
Whereas dick Whittington I wanted more !
I know which one I would rather go to next year !
Also a mention to bar and auditorium staff who were professional and friendly.

This is the sixth Panto we have had the privilege to see at the Lichfield Garrick. We have attended with grandchildren and other adults over the years and it NEVER fails to impress. All problems forgotten for a magical 2 hour performance. I always end up with an aching jaw from laughing so much. Well done to the whole team who were excellent in this year's Dick Whittington. Pop into the Green Room for a pre snack, lunch or drink. I've already booked for Cinderella next year.

Our first trip to The Garrick even though it’s on our doorstep, will now be regular visitors. We went to see Crimes of the Christmas Pudding which was performed in the smaller Studio. Excellent performance would definitely recommend and the Studio setting was superb.

Very helpful attendant, nice to look around but unable to go up in spires. A lot of the coloured glass has been removed for renovation, and so it has lost some of its glamour at the moment

The cathedral is well worth a visit and the atmosphere inside is a wonderful feeling every step of the way around. There is a strong military and historical element and it is absolutely fascinating to see the books, displays and memorials. Wonderful place to visit !

Absolutely fascinating example of the English cathedral. Beautiful, steeped in history and sacred, - the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful, and the craftsmanship on view is simply stunning. Could easily have spent all day here. We found all the staff we spoke to were polite, enthusiastic and very wiling to help. Wander to the other side of the lake and enjoy the views of the cathedral towers reflected in the water.

Lichfield Cathedral is an impressive three-spired medieval cathedral, it is an incredible site and has a commanding view of Lichfield itself. The stone walls of the cathedral have been blackened over the years which gives the building even more presence.

On the outside there are over a hundred intricate carvings of Kings and saints. Inside the cathedral is cavernous with even more carved heads, there are over 400 cushions in the aisles to celebrate the parishes across the diocese.

There is a section that is dedicated to the Staffordshire Hoard where there are actual and replica pieces and interactive screens to give more background of the exhibition.

The cathedral is a must see for all of its varied and interesting history, Lichfield is also such a pleasant city and also easy to go to, definitely recommended.
