Absolutely wonderful place with the most beautiful scenery and memorials. It's very reminiscent of Arlington cemetery which was always a place that stuck with me after visiting there. Was anxious about going with young kids, but they have very cleverly built 2 trails into the site, one free (stickman) and one paid (only 2.50 to do a bug trail with a prize at the end). They way they have laid the trails out mean that the adults get to see all of the main memorials, but are engaging enought to keep the kids entertained. We came here hoping to pass a morning and left at 4.30pm! Definitely recommended.

Didn't know what to expect, but the site was much bigger than I imagined. We started out on the land train, for which you pay a small fee. It's worth doing as you get a commentary and a feel for the site, and some idea of where you might want to go. Had a drink and cake in the cafe, which is reasonably priced and very good cake. Then set out to wander. Our aim was to reach the Police Memorial via a circuitous route, then back along the river, before turning inland to the National Army memorial, which we comfortably achieved. Plenty of seats, plenty of birds, lots to look at.
Pay for parking in advance and you save £2.

Very well laid out and maintained.

Whilst admittedly probably not the place I would normally visit, it was interesting and respectful.

Went here today with my friends, one of which is getting married next year and wanted to get an idea of dresses etc. This place is brilliant, made our time there very personal and was a very beautiful experience. Highly recommend coming here for your big day dress needs.

This is a lovely place to visit. November is not the best month for the gardens but the autumn colour magnificent this year. The national memorial is now closed for a year of repair work but all the names are being photographed and displayed on a site near to the visitor centre. The gardens and arboretum are still open and there is lots to see. The memorial services are extremely moving.

The Garrick Theatre is reasonably sized, and comfortable, with a better leg room than some. Show we saw That'll Be The Day, was a brilliant night, plenty of audience participation, clapping and singing, dancing at the conclusion of the evenings performance. Well done to all concerned.
