It's always a relaxing visit here and every time you go there's something new to see. The cafes are nice too, with a good range of food and beverages. Sunny or cloudy it's great but I think it would be a very different experience on a rainy day, so I'd give it a miss then as there's no shelter to speak of.

Booked dog field and planned to sit outside with dogs for breakfast. Food queue too long. Group men sitting outside whose language was foul, not appropriate to sit with my daughter so went to strawberry fields insteadFood: 4/5  |  Service: 2/5  |  Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

I have nothing but praise for the powers that be who organise such fabulous events, tours, exhibitions, courses etc etc at Lichfield Cathedral. Over the years we’ve been to loads of really great things and condsider ourselves blessed to be able to enjoy such a wonderful place, which throws its doors open and welcomes everyone - in my opinion it fulfils its purpose at the heart of the community magnificentl. Thanks to the very nice volunteers too, you make us feel so welcome each and every time we visit.

This time we were at the Candlelit Queen Concert in the Cathedral - one of a long list of fantastic concerts staged here on a regular basis - an absolutely amazing backdrop to a great performance which included all our favourite Queen songs, the second half got people on their feet singing their hearts out and we didn’t need asking twice to get up and dance!! Young, not quite so young and every age group in between came together for a tremendous night of fun - and the Cathedral cast A Kinda Magic spell on us all.

Never been before and didn’t know what to expect.
Booked onto a guided walk and wow this place is amazing.
Our guide Kenneth was brilliant and so knowledgable about the different areas of the site and the stories about the different memorials.
We will definitely return to this lovely and special place.
Thanks to all especially Ken

Amazing visit, would highly recommend anybody to go! Great for all ages, including young kiddies. It was a lot bigger than expected, 4hours wasn’t long enough to get around everything, will definitely be back!
