We were recommended Pickfords from an extended family member, who had used them for Commercial properties. After being assigned Esther to handle both our sale and purchase, we can't praise her enough. Despite an enormously difficult buyer (who exacerbated matters by employing a fairly incompetent solicitor) and some late curve balls (mysterious sellers in Hong Kong), Esther ensured all 4-5 parties in the chain were as in sync as possible to deliver exchange and completion on the same day. She kept us informed throughout the 6 months, expertly managed the logistics of all the funds to juggle and her support allowed us to move into our home as planned. She was excellent and Pickfords overall were great. Thanks!

We have had a good experience with Pickford in both selling and purchasing houses. Harjinder and Laura have been great throughout the process and Laura has ensured we are kept up to date every step of the way. Our questions were always answered promptly and they did everything they could to help. They went out of their way to try and make sure we were ready before the SDLT increase, unfortunately we missed the deadline due to a sale further down the chain but everything was signed off for our sale and purchase with time to spare. Overall it has been a positive experience.

Our house purchase was dealt with by Cadhla and Elizabeth. They were absolutely amazing. So thorough and helpful. Our house sale didn't go as planned due to issues with the property, so what we thought would be a 4 month process turned into 6, however I cannot fault the support and service we have had from Cadhla and Elizabeth, updating us promptly and explaining everything multiple times if needed. They have been there any time we've needed them. As first time buyers we had no idea what to expect and after hearing horror stories, we were worried about picking the wrong solicitors to help us through this time, we feel so lucky to have picked Pickford solicitors as they have been incredible.

I recently used Pickford Solicitors for conveyancing and had the pleasure of working with Rachel, Elizabeth, and Cadhla. My initial contact was with Rachel MacDonald who was polite and helpful, although I do not think enough consideration is given to the fact that not all of their clients are fully computer literate and maybe the firm could better explain the process of providing the initial client information. (an alternative to the "complicated" solicitor based system would be helpful).
I then basically dealt with Esther Ankama for the majority of what turned out to be a somewhat lengthy and complicated sale process involving two purchasers (the first one was abhortive) for a non-standard property and she was very patient and helpful.
The concluding process was dealt with efficiently by Harpreet Kaur and the sale was eventually satisfactorily finalised.
Their charges were as originally stated and I would definately use Pickfords again for any future transactions.
