Lichfield cathedral is very beautiful and hosts a variety of events, with friendly staff, but accessibility is an issue as only the front entrance is suitable for wheelchair users or those with poor mobility. Additionally the toilets are located in a separate building on the other side of the street, which you have to go over a cobbled street to get to. It is lovely and worth a visit, but if you have mobility issues, this is something you should take in to consideration.

Only went once 50yrs ago. Beautiful. But...how many people know that this Cathedral was built and paid for by Roman Catholics? Stolen at the Reformation, it belongs to Catholics, as does Canterbury Cathedral, York Minister, and many other Cathedrals and Churches, which were all built before Henry VIII. Now in the hands of the Church of England which only started 500 years ago and who claim them as their own? As Jesus said, Seek the truth (of history) and you will find it. Read THE STRIPPING OF THE ALTARS by Prof Eamon Duffy, and THE HISTORY OF ENGLAND: THE TUDORS PART II by Peter Ackroyd which tells of the vision Elizabeth I had weeks before she died. Finally, THE GREAT UNFROCKED 1000 YEARS OF CHURCH SCANDAL by Matthew Parris. The history of the Church matters. Saint John Henry Newman, a convert from Anglicanism to the Catholic Church, wrote, 'If every Protestant knew their history they would instantly cease to be Protestant'. People may like to read his books. Jesus founded ONE Church, the Catholic Church, 2000 yrs ago. He did not found Protestantism, of which there are now 45,000 different denominations, all stemming from the Church of England, which started only 500 years ago. Division is never from God. The last prayer of Jesus was that we would all be ONE. Will Protestants grant Him His wish? Will all Catholics worship Him in truth? Will we ever be ONE - in the Catholic Church? Souls are being lost because of our division and Jesus is grieved. He needs consoling. Are we going to love and console Him and become ONE?

Me and my friend recently went to see A shoddy Christmas Carole. To be fair, with only three actors taking part, we were not quite sure what to expect. However, the actors were just first class and never laughed so much!! The story was expertly written and our attention never wondered. Thank you for such a lovely Christmas experience, it was fab and would highly recommend. It took place in the studio theatre and was actually so much nicer being a small theatre. Brilliant, thank you 🤗🎄xx
