social distancing, masks, visors marks on the floor, hand gel, signs, name taken all in place. Not to busy very pleasant lady took our order and contactless payment. then brought the wrong order, forgot my orange juice, brought coffee, didnt bother to offer tea spoons,or cutlery, she did chuck a couple of sugars on the table, which she fished out of her apron pocket. To be fair food was fine, well cooked Farm shop was excellent pork really good.My husband not pleased with ready cheap margarined bread, although butter was also on the side of his plate.

Wow, what a burger, cooked spot on. My wife raves about the stew aswell. Brilliantly and friendly service, feeding the animals was highlight of the kids day plus their loyalty card for the animal feed is a feature that is offered nowhere else locally. A true gem of a place.

Now - pre lockdown we were regular visitors here. (Been shielding - so haven’t been anywhere!).
And post lockdown we shall be again!
I’ve only just seen some of the negative reviews - and my amazement has prompted me to write this review!
We have visited as a couple, with daughters, and with grandchildren and daughter!
We even made a point of visiting on the day of our last family holiday (Jan 2020), as when we asked where to stop for breakfast on our way to Cornwall - the chorus was BRADSHAWS - before we had even set out!
Now to address some of the moans:
Slow service? Well it’s not as fast as your average greasy spoon - freshly cooked food does take longer!
Complaints about having to find table first? - the obvious reason is to make sure you have somewhere to eat!
This may be more difficult with a baby or toddler, but I visited often with granddaughter (as a baby and as a toddler.
Common sense solved this! I put my coat on table, moved the high chair to table, and then queued to order with my granddaughter- not rocket science is it?
Expensive? , quality produce, worth every penny!
Rude staff? Now I have never seen this or experienced it on my many visits, but I’m never rude to people myself either, and tend to find it works both ways!
Farm shop is more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for, and you are assured of absolute top quality. Every time.

I simply can’t wait to visit again, hopefully sooner, rather than later

Went for breakfast and had the large Bradshaws breakfast. Food was cooked perfectly and so much I struggled to eat it.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I would suggest booking as although you can just turn up it does get busy.
Will definitely return.

Visited today with family plus grandchildren for a "Farm experience". Greeted by a lovely lady called Helen and helper Grace, we went into most of the enclosures which we all enjoyed. Helen talked about all the animals to the grandchildren. Very enjoyable visit, ended with a tasty picnic box. Highly recommended .

The food in Bradshaws shop is generally excellent however the scotch eggs are way too salty! 😕The black pudding and the chicken and mushroom pies are awesome!
The animal experience outdoors is fab!!!!
We will be returning to Bradshaws ASAP! ❤️👍🌈

We visited the Farm Shop one afternoon and the service and produce here is excellent, The sausages are truly excellent and the Pork Pies superb and all the other meat, from stek and burgers to pork and lamb have so far been wonderful. The Sausages take me back to my childhood with memories of delicious sausages and these have the same taste and are way better than supermarket bought stuff. We will be making this place part of our regular shopping run from now on.
On having such a good visit in the shop we asked about the Cafe and was informed that booking was essential and so a week or so later we called and booked for midday which provided an opportunity to take along our 18mth old grand daughter to see the animals etc.. On the day we arrived promptly about 5 minutes before 12.. there is a one way system in with hand sanitiser and the NHS Covid app scan area. There are about 10 tables in the inside area of the Cafe and only two men sat at one table finishing their meal and a party of four at another just reading the menu. It took 3 or 4 minutes getting to the counter as folks were giving take out orders in front of us. We got to the counter and were then told our table was ready and pointed in the direction of a table near the entrance and we went and sat down to peruse the menu. Other than the waitress at the counter the place appeared devoid of staff at this time.. and despite the waitress saying she would be with us in a minute she was taking orders from the other table, having to return to the counter when someone came in and was clearing old plates from tables vacated before our arrival.. In all it took 25 minutes for someone to come for our order, which with a young child who thought that was way too long to be sat still was a bit of a test. At that point it appeared lunch break was over as then there were three waitresses moving about in the cafe. My wife went an took our grand daughter to see the animals. We had ordered two of the 'medium breakfasts which were about £7.50 each and something from the kids menu for the little one, you pay at time of order, never popular with me.. I can see the need if folks are eating outside and may slip away without paying and obviously they just do that for inside too. In contrast to the wait to order it only took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive.. A hearty breakfast indeed if only they didn't drop the toast on top of the tomatoes making it so soggy that it fell apart when picked up and those tomatoes were a sort of thick paste rather than discernable peices of tomato in juice, similarly the baked beans were 'over cooked' if thats possible, rather congealed and had to be cut with a knife, if proded with a fork they moved as one mass possibly been kept warm for most of the morning so quite dry. Those points made the sausage, bacon and eggs were nicely done and very tasty as I knew they would be, the hash browns and saute mushrooms too were very nice. I didn't care for the black pudding, just something missing but I did try it. All in all the meal was good and worth waiting for. Apart from the little gripes which may have been due to the time we visited, I'm sure those beans and tomatoes would have been great at 9 or 10 am. On the whole it was a 7 out of 10 for the breakfast. Other things to mention, the childs meal wasn't great, one and a half sausages on a folded over slice of bread.. I dont think the little one was too concerned though, she enjoyed the bread but the sausages went with us, half each for the three dogs who like me thought they were excellent. Finally the table top was quite sticky and this is clearly not due to poor hygiene the waitresses cleaning the tables was very evident but maybe what is used to clean them or that they are unpolished wooden topped tables even so it didn't detract too much from the experience. On balance I would re-visitbut probably at a different time or for a different meal.. not bad all in all!

Where's the homemade chips? The homemade chips used to be the best ever but visiting recently and they are now frozen! It stated homemade on the menu but they definitely weren't. We visited for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and again food was bland and did not have the homemade taste it used too. Not sure if there has been a change in chef. Very disappointed as we are regulars but won't be returning for a while.
