On an unexpected sunny day we took a stroll to walk the dogs. We walked up the old Ironstone Road, Chase Terrace and saw the sign for Bradshaw Butchers and read there was a tea room.
On our return we decided to give it a go.
What a find.... an amazing shop, cafe/tea room, petting farm, small play park, indoor and outdoor seating area, plenty of parking.
The menu is extensive and offers far more than your usual cafe choices.
Apparently the breakfasts are amazing and there are many different sizes and choices.
We ordered 3 different meals, jacket potato with cheese and homemade coleslaw, (many other filling available) a Bacon Stilton and walnut, mixed salad and a Poached Eggs Benedict.
The food was freshly prepared, came with side salad was plentiful.
The coffee was great too!
We also took some amazing cakes home with us, the cherry scones with cream are huge. The choice of cakes is cruel!
Families were having fun feeding the animals and the little ones were playing on the park.
Dog friendly for outside diners on a nice day.
What a lovely afternoon out.
The strange thing about this is I drive past Bradshaw every day and only live half a mile away, I had no idea this little gem was on my doorstep. Will definitely be going again.

We visited the cafe and enjoyed a tasty breakfast. It was a really lovely atmosphere with really friendly and helpful staff. All the produce were fresh and full of flavour. We will definitely go there again!!

Visited on a wet Sunday. Was easy to find with plenty of parking.
The selection in the farm shop was ok but nothing special.

Being gluten free, food can be a struggle so I usually plan ahead. We were there on a business trip and completely hadn’t planned to be there that long. Found this little place last minute and saw they did gluten free options. Didn’t hold my breath, but they did a gluten free option for the breakfast with bread and sausages, and I nearly died from happiness. Usually breakfasts gluten free option is no bread or sausages and it’s usually a bit depressing. Not here it wasn’t. It was bloody lovely! Also, the lady at the front of house was absolutely lovely, had a laugh, but was professional and informative. Would definitely come again.

What can I say about Bradshaws except that the food they serve is always fresh from their own butchers and farm, with very friendly staff. Sometimes it's so popular you can't get in the door.

Just love the food here. Great little place with fabulous food and cakes.
My husband had a small breakfast with added black pudding but it was huge! The sausages were excellent. I had a vegetarian breakfast- this was also huge, 3 hash browns but it as delicious, with plenty of mushrooms.
My mom wanted a lamb shank but unfortunately they had ran out, so she had the cottage pie they bought us a big bowl of chips out with it, which I’m sure wasn’t on the menu listing, she’s 83 so couldn’t eat it all, but thoroughly enjoyed what she had.
For drinks we had a pot of tea for 2 and mom had a tonic water, the bill came to approx £22.

It’s not a very big cafe and does get very busy, there isn’t much room for your chairs, so it’s cramped.
In the building there’s also a farm shop which sells the Bradshaw sausage & meat on the butchers stall, gin at £38 a bottle, I think a bottle of wine was £8-9, jams, honey, cakes, gifts ....
in fact anything you want really.
We purchased a family meat pack at £25 ( a chicken, mince, 4 pork loin chops, 4 chicken breasts, 2 packs of bacon and sausage) it was really good value for money.
Fantastic place for breakfast and lunch, I think they do cream teas for £18.95 for two persons.
So everything you want and need in one building. Also a petting farm outside.
I gave it 4 stars because it was cramped seating and the gardener outside decided to use a leaf blower to blow all the dust across the entrance as we were leaving, ehh! - what he was trying to achieve I really don’t know, we got a mouthful of dust, my mother was chocking he also filled the shop with it, clouds and clouds of dust, we were all covered in dust as we left, I know this isn’t the cafes fault but maybe he needs more health and safety training, especially as they sell food in the shop.

Bradshaws never dissapoints, excellent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. They offer a great selection of cakes and a farm shop attached. They also have a few animals outside for the kids! Only criticism is it needs to have more tables as it is increasing in popularity!

Been trying to get here since reading about it on our local blog Brownhills Bob. Very busy, always a good sign. 3 vegi breakfasts with excellent toast, coffee, hot chocolate, banana pancakes and chocolate syrup. Resonable price.
Note choose your table and then go to order at the counter, fairly long wait to order but this was countered by food arriving quickly. Excellent shop with fresh bread (which is why the toast was so good) plus lots of gift ideas.... give ita try

Some lunch before work.
It was nice, heard good things about it. My partner had the Bradshaws lunch and I had a ploughmans! Good value for money! Had a little look in the shop but ran out of time for a proper look.
