Wonderful, it's a large area dedicated to all the services including fire, police , navy, army, raf etc. The thought and design of the memorials is outstanding and I must admit it does put to the font of your mind about the people who served for us. The grounds are immaculate and and it's truly beautiful to walk around. Well done to all involved in it.

Not expected to have felt as emotional as I was on the day. Beautiful sculptures outshone the trees which was the main reason for the visit. Very poignant and thought provoking but bring your tissues.

This is a wonderful, very special attraction. If you have an interest in history and the military, then this is the place to visit. We went during spring so a lot of the the trees weren't in leaf. I imagine come May the Arboretum looks stunning. The layout is well considered and very thought provoking. And the grounds are kept very nice and litter free. Looks like they have various special events throughout the year. The staff and volunteers are also extremely helpful with a wealth of information and knowledge to share if you ask. Sensible shoes and snacks required as lots to see. There are plenty of seats and resting places. There is a nice café and clean modern toilets. Entry free but a fee for the car parking. The Arboretum rellies on donations, which in my opinion are put to excellent use, so it was a pleasure to donate and gift aid! There are plenty of contactless donation points for those preferring not to use cash. Thank you we will be back!
