Beautiful cathedral. Perhaps not in the first-tier among the English cathedrals (to which I would reserve the likes of Durham, Salisbury, and my personal favourite, which is Lincoln), but still a lovely building to visit.

Doesn’t look preserved very well, lots of erosion, that should be restored better. However, the area around the park is nicely kept with a diverse range of wildflowers and local plants.

Great events venue for the Lichfield Festival. The architecture of the building itself is really worth a visit, the ambience inside is really calming. A very thought provoking and reflective place to visit.
