Follow  the story of the Staffordshire Regiment from its raising in Lichfield in 1705 and its early service in the Caribbean through practically every war and campaign fought by Britain up to the present day.  Features a reconstruction of a 100 meter section of British front line trench from the First World War (the Coltman Trench).  It is named after Lance Corporal William Coltman VC and serves as a memorial to him and all of the soldiers of Staffordshire who served in that war.  A great educational resource.  See website for opening times.
