Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor

Haydn ‘Gypsy’ Piano Trio

An evening of passion, drama, and virtuosity.

Be swept away by Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor — a work of rare intensity and expression. This is music of high drama and emotional depth. The programme continues with Haydn’s flamboyant and irresistibly virtuosic ‘Gypsy’ Piano Trio, bursting with colour, fire, and brilliance.

Internationally acclaimed pianist Iain Farrington joins Harriet and Alexandra Mackenzie alongside renowned violist Nancy Johnson for a concert of classical drama at dusk. Farrington has performed to a live global audience of over a billion at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, sharing the stage with Sir Simon Rattle and Rowan Atkinson, and has written music for the King’s Coronation.
