Wolfwood Animal Sanctuary of Lancaster Are Winners!!

During the first fourteen days of February, culminating on Valentine Day, thebestof have been running  their annual ’14 Days of Love’ competition to find the most loved business in each local area.

Local people are invited to show their love for their favourite businesses by providing a testimonial about what they love most about the services they provide or products they sell. 

All testimonials are then totalled to give not only an areas favourite business, but also national and category winners.

Additionally people providing the testimonials were entered into a daily draw for a total of 14 mouth-watering prizes.

And Lancaster and Morecambe have not just one winner but a total of FOUR!

Wolfwood Animal Sanctuary of Lancaster have been voted by the local people of the Lancaster and Morecambe area as:

• No. 1 Most Loved Charity in the UK

• No. 1 Most Loved Business in Lancaster

• No. 34 Top 100 Most Loved Businesses in the UK

And Brenda W of Morecambe scooped the prize for day 11 – ‘A Box of Luxury Chocolates Every Month for a Year’ – by providing this testimonial for Wolfwood:

Testimonial - Stephen Wakelin is one of the most caring people I know as far as animals are concerned and very helpful to everyone in a crisis. My niece once found a stray dog and she contacted him and he was very helpful with his advice. They work tirelessly to help rehome the dogs and are desperate to obtain their own premises where they can expand and further this valuable work. They have a good complement of volunteers who work very, very hard and are always pleasant and cheerful. Support Wolfwood - they are great.
