In the last four years, LMC has successfully hosted events in the Hexagon Theatre and surrounding campus, for example - cross-College open days, live music events in the Hexagon and the SU Festival - which have attracted over 300 people per event.

They have also had successful partnerships with other local agencies such as Addaction, More Music, Promenade Music, All Ages Concerts & DT3 (Dukes Theatre).

Last year they hosted the first Inspired@LMC festival which was a resounding success. Attended by over 700 people, with 2 sound stages, a football; tournament and exciting activities throughout the day it was an event not to be missed!

We have learnt a lot form running the first festival and we know that the next one will be even better. This is an opportunity for you to link your brand to one of the most successful community events in the local area whilst gaining access to over 2000 students and 4000 alumni.

This year the festival is to be held on Sunday 16th June 2013 between 12.00 pm and 4.00pm.

The event coincides with the end of the academic year and provides an opportunity for staff and students to celebrate the year’s achievements.

Accordingly L&MC are able to offer you the opportunity of holding a stall at our festival to promote your business to the local community.

They believe that the audience numbers will grow this year and they estimate an audience over the course of the day in excess of 1,000 people.

This estimate is based on a number of different factors which include:

Change of date so it is during term time which will mean a bigger student audience and more involvement from students in the actual Festival

Invitations to be sent out to all parents of LMC students

The Inspired Festival is now a more established brand therefore we will have returning audience as well as newcomers

Support from the Bay Radio already secured – we will have the Radio on site on the day as well as publicity in the run up to the event.

These new publicity channels and initiatives will mean that we are  now marketing to more than double the population we targeted last time (172,000 additional people in South Lakeland and Barrow in Furness) therefore a 30% increase in numbers is a conservative estimate.

The cost for this will be £50 per pitch.
