Launch of MORE Renewables
MORE Renewables (Morecambe Bay Community Renewables) is an Industrial & Provident Society (Cooperative) which will use money raised from a share issue to install renewable energy systems on community buildings in the Morecambe Bay area. The aims of our organisation are to provide a socially and environmentally beneficial investment opportunity for local people, increase the amount of renewable energy generated in the Morecambe Bay area and reduce the long-term energy costs and CO2 emissions of local community organisations.
Investors, community building landlords and tenants and everybody else are welcome at our launch event. You'll be able to find out all about MORE, our projects and the investment scheme.
Doors open at 6:30pm, presentations from MORE staff will begin at 7:30pm.
