Since 2000 the castle’s resident professional theatre company, demi-paradise productions, have performed this evergreen (and ever changing) celebration of Christmas in words and music. Audiences are gifted with a programme of festive verse and prose, songs and carols, letters, journals, stories and pantomime. Compiled, devised and co-directed by the remarkably talented Sue McCormick (who also performs) the company of five actor/readers team up with female a cappella singing partners Five in a Bar under the musical direction of Jude Glendinning.
