Any Old Books? Any Old Book?
CancerCare are holding a Book Fair and Coffee Morning at 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on 2nd and 3rd March, at The Town Hall, Kendal and they need books............lots of them!
So now is your chance to get rid of all those volumes that you have been reading over the long, dark, winter nights and start off your spring cleaning by donating them to CancerCare.
And once you have done that you can pop along on 2nd or 3rd of March, have a coffee and buy some more reading material for the forthcoming summer months.
Even better you can get all the books you need to take part in CancerCare's 'Big Book Bonanza Sponsored Read-a-Thon' and read as many books as possible during the month of March.
Any books you have to donate can be delivered to CancerCare at either of their centres in Lancaster and Kendal and all details can be found on their web page at http://www.cancercare.org.uk/contact-us.
