We are lucky in the Kidderminster area – there are lots of great walks all around us and there are lots of benefits to taking a walk. There are lots of walking groups around too that you can join if walking on your own is a little daunting.
The Best Foot Forward Walking Group has a whole host of walks and they have even graded them into different levels so that you decide based on distance and level of difficulty. Best Foot Forward walks are easy country and town walks that are designed to encourage you to develop a regular walking habit that can help to improve your health, meet new people and you have the opportunity to become part of a social group that have the same interests. All you need to participate in these walks is just to turn up…. wear suitable clothing that matches the weather conditions.
Each of their walks last between 60-75 minutes which is about 2 to 3 miles. Paths can sometimes be uneven with slopes and sometimes steps and stiles.
