This blog thread is open to anyone involved in this particular project, or any related groups in the Wyre Forest.
I met a lady (Dr. Joy Rooney) at 4networking this morning, who helps support a local conservation group, called the
Hartlebury Common Local Group
their website is www.hartleburycommonlocalgroup.org.uk
The group started in 2007 with the help of a BBC Breathing Places grant. Their aim is to discover and preserve the natural history of Hartlebury Common, one of the few remaining heathlands in Worcestershire.
They have twice monthly 'work parties' where the local community can get involved in this voluntary group.
Give Joy a call on 01299 877275 if you would like more information or to get involved.
