Bewdley’s next monthly street market on the 4th of September promises to be even better this month with even more high quality stalls. Launched in August, the market got off to a flying start and the next one runs from 11am to 4pm in the centre of the town.
The market is being organized and run by Bewdley Development Trust. Its managing director, Peter Miller said “Our first Sunday market was a tremendous success with a exceptional range of stalls and a number of traders reporting that they had virtually sold out of their stock. As a result of the first market, we have had a number of additional traders join us and we have added an extra Sunday in the run up to Christmas.”
The stalls on the next market range from naturally reared beef, lamb and pork, through to home made cakes and vegetarian food. There will also be stalls with superb freshly ground coffee together with an impressive range of locally grown produce.
