Nick and Allison Ford of Abacus Hair Salon in Bewdley were the worthy winners of L’Oreal’s colour award last year and their prize was one that had other Worcestershire based salons looking on in envy.
Whisked away to the fashion magazine’s London office to work with highly rated fashion photographer Gustavo Papaleo on this seasons spring/summer look double page spread to be published in this month’s issue.
Having returned to Bewdley Mrs Ford said: “We had a fantastic time. To be part of such an iconic magazine is amazing. It was really exciting on the day.”
“It was brilliant to work with such credited people in the industry. It was very special. We’re very proud of our achievement.”
Now Abacus have proven their talents for the world to see hopefully more salons & hairdressers in the Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley will be able to show themselves in such good light in the very near future.
If you want the Vogue spring/summer look this summer then barrel curls to give the hair volume and body is apparently the way to go.
