The residents of Bewdley have been given the chance to scrutinize and debate new plans for a flood prevention scheme in the town that has been so prone to flooding in past years.
The plans will be on display at Wribbenhall Community Centre on Friday from 5-8pm. Submitted by Wyre Forest District Council for planning permission; their aim being to have the proposal approved sooner rather than later. Comments and recommendations about the proposed design will be accepted until the end of April.
Bewdley Town Centre will be reviewing the submitted application at their planning meeting on the 3rd May; Guildhall, Load Street. The Environment Agency project manager is also expected to attend.
